9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Firefighter Robert “Bert” Mentrasti of the Fairview Fire District has died of World Trade Center-related cancer. He was 54.
His wake will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 and on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm each day at the Ballard Durand Funeral Home in Elmsford, NY.
Mr. Mentrasti’s funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Hartsdale, NY on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 9:45am.
