9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Wake for FF Dennis J. Heedles, Sr., FDNY

Dennis J. Heedles, Sr., 56, died of World Trade Center-related lung cancer on October 10, 2015. He was a retired FDNY firefighter, who responded to the terrorist attacks and worked the recovery effort. He retired from Ladder 76.
His wife, four children and four siblings survive him.
His wake will be held at the Hanley Funeral Home in New Dorp, Staten Island on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
His funeral will take place on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10:15am at St. Charles Church.
FF Heedles will be buried in Ocean View Cemetery in Oakwood.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Uniformed Firefighters Association, 204 E. 23rd St. NY, NY 10010 c/o O.F.A.
