9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Wake for BC David M. Lachenauer, City of Watertown Fire Department

David M. Lachenauer, a battalion chief with the City of Watertown Fire Department, has died of cancer attributed to his time at the World Trade Center site after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Lachenauer, 61, spent three days on the pile. His career with the City of Watertown Fire Department began in 1985.
Calling hours will be from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home in Watertown, NY.
His funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, also in Watertown.
Burial will be later in the spring in Glenwood Cemetery.
