Wake for NYPD Captain John Vierling, ret.

Retired NYPD Captain John Vierling has died after a long battle with World Trade Center-related liver cancer.
His wake will be held at the Claude R. Boyd/Caratozzolo Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY on Thursday, February 25, 2016, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm and from 7:00pm to 9:30pm and on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:30pm and from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.
His funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 9:45am at St. Matthew’s RC Church in Dix Hills.
A committal service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 11:00am – 12:00pm at St. Charles Cemetery.
