9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Visitation and funeral for retired NYPD Detective Andrea Rainer – St. Augustine, FL

Former NYPD Detective Andrea Rainer died of World Trade Center-related illness on June 25, 2019 in St. Augustine, FL, where she retired in 2007. She was 58.She was a member of the 109 Precinct, among many other jobs in the NYPD, including her favorite ballistic unit in the forensic lab.
Detective Rainer’s memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Anastasia Baptist Church. A gathering of family and friends will precede the service from 10:00am until 11:00am.
