Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Thomas I. Glasser Memorial Scholarship Fund Comedy Night – Summit, NJ

The Thomas I. Glasser Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Summit PBA will host a comedy night on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 7:30pm until 11:00pm at the Summit Knights of Columbus hall.
Featured will be Last Comic Standing semifinalist Mike Gaffney, Kim Jonny, and mind reader/magician Tom “the other Mentalist” Kennedy. There will also be food, drinks, and prize giveaways.

The Thomas I. Glasser Memorial Scholarship Fund, previously known as the Summit PBA Memorial Scholarship Fund, has been renamed in memory of Summit resident and founding member Thomas I. Glasser, who was killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The Fund offers college scholarships to Summit High School graduates who wish to study criminal justice and to the children of Summit police officers.
In addition to being a partner at Sandler O’Neill and Partners in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center, Tom Glasser was a track star, a restaurant owner, a loving husband and father of two, and a comic. He was 40 when he was killed.
