9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Street Renaming for PAPD Officer James W. Kennelly – Massapequa, NY

Old Sunrise Highway between Carman Hills Road and County Line Road in Massapequa will be renamed in honor of Port Authority Police Officer James W. Kennelly, who died of World Trade Center-related cancer on June 17, 2017. Officer Kennelly was also a member of Massapequa Volunteer FD.
Please meet at the corner of Carman Hills Road and Old Sunrise Highway to honor his sacrifice.
