9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. St. Michael’s Cemetery in East Elmhurst will honor the police officers, firefighters and emergency medical personnel who were killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center — and those who have died years later from illnesses sustained as a result of their work during the recovery effort— with a memorial ceremony at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018.
