Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Seminar – Assaf Moghadam, “Nexus of Global Jihad: Understanding Cooperation among Terrorist Actors”

The final John Jay Center on Terrorism Friday Seminar of this year will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm, at John Jay College. Please note that this seminar is in a different room (room #10.65.36) from the usual Friday Seminar room.
The guest speaker will be Assaf Moghadam, author of Nexus of Global Jihad: Understanding Cooperation among Terrorist Actors, who will discuss his new book.
Mr. Moghadam is associate professor and director of the MA Program in Government at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, Israel, and Director of Academic Affairs at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism. He is also a non-resident fellow at the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point; a Research Affiliate at the Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) at the University of Maryland; and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science at Columbia University.
He has authored three books on terrorism and edited or co-edited two additional volumes.
