9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Return trip aboard the John J. Harvey fireboat from the Oyster Festival

Ride the retired FDNY fireboat John J. Harvey (with its historic dazzled paint job) on a trip to the Oyster Bay Oyster Festival.
A free public trip will leave from Manhattan’s Pier 66 at 9:00am on Friday, October 12, 2018, the day before the Oyster Festival begins. The Oyster Festival runs from Saturday, October 13, 2018 until Sunday, October 14, 2018. The John J. Harvey’s return trip will leave from Oyster Bay on Monday, October 16, 2018 at 10:30am.

Please note that the trips to and from Oyster Bay are at least 4 hours long, with no stops, and there is limited shelter on board in case of inclement weather.
Please bring your own snacks and drinks; there is no food service on the fireboat.
Dubbed the largest waterfront festival on the East Coast, the Oyster Festival in Oyster Bay, New York, is a celebration of fresh oysters and mouthwatering seafood. The two-day annual affair is a smorgasbord of delectable seafood dishes from culinary pros and expert chefs. Festival highlights include live entertainment, John J. Harvey’s fabulous water displays, pirate shows, carnival attractions, and oyster-eating and oyster-shucking contests.
