9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Playground Renaming Ceremony in Honor of Detective Peter Figoski, NYPD

A playground will be named to honor NYPD Detective Peter Figoski, who was killed in the line of duty in 2011 at the age of 47. The 22-year veteran of the NYPD was widely beloved, especially by his four daughters.
The renaming ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 10:00am in Detective Figoski’s town of West Babylon.
