9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 11:00am, a plaque dedication ceremony will be held honoring the memory of FDNY Marine Engineer Robert W. Alexander of Marine 1. The dedication will take place in the quarters of Marine 1 in Manhattan.
Marine Engineer Alexander died at the age of 43 of World Trade Center-related brain cancer on August 14, 2017.
