Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Plaque Ceremony for FDNY Captain John Vigiano, Sr.

On Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00am, a plaque dedication will be held to honor FDNY Captain John Vigiano, Sr., who died of World Trade Center-related illness last year. The ceremony will be held at quarters of E-233/L-176 in Brooklyn.
Captain Vigiano, who devoted his life to wounded warriors after both his children, NYPD Detective Joseph Vigiano, 34, and FDNY FF John Vigiano, 36, were murdered in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, was a legend loved by all who knew him.
