9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Philippe Petit & Slavoj Zizek – an Act of Courage

Live from the New York Public Library will hold an evening of conversation with French high-wire walker Philippe Petit, the subject of the award-winning documentary Man on Wire, and famous for walking a tightrope between the towers of the World Trade Center on August 7, 1974. He will speak with Slavoj Zizek.

The event will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 7:00pm at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building of the NY Public Library.

Tickets cost $40.00 for adults, $36.00 for seniors and $10.00 for students. Tickets are available here. Members of the Library receive a 20% discount.
