9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation’s Toy Drive to Benefit Ace’s Place

For the third year, the Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation will hold a toy drive to benefit the children of Ace’s Place, the playroom at Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, in an attempt to make hospital stays less frightening for children.

Mark Bavis, an identical twin and a respected hockey scout for the Los Angeles Kings, was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 with Garnet “Ace Bailey, a famous hockey player turned scout, as they traveled on business aboard United Flight 175, which was flown by terrorists into the south tower of the World Trade Center.
