9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. NYPD Memorial 5-K Run

The 16th annual NYPD Memorial 5-K Run will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017, beginning at 10:13am. Please gather at the NYPD Memorial Wall at Liberty Street and South End Avenue before the run for a prayer and a moment of silence to honor the 875 officers whose names are on the wall.
The race honors all NYPD officers who have died in the line of duty, including, of course, the 23 NYPD officers killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and all those who have died of site-related illnesses since the attacks.
The run will begin at 10:13am at Liberty and West Streets in Lower Manhattan. Please gather at the NYPD Memorial Wall at Liberty Street and South End Avenue for a prayer, then the run begins. After the run, there will be a barbecue and Kids’ Fun Run.
You will be able to designate which NYPD hero you are running in memory of when registering for the run. The name of the officer you chose will be displayed on your running bib.
