9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. NYPD Inspector James Guida Memorial Fishing Trip

The NYPD Holy Name Society will hold a fishing trip to honor NYPD Inspector James Guida on Friday, August 10, 2018, from 7:30am until 2:30pm. The trip will be aboard the Captain Jim and will begin in Freeport.
Inspector Guida died in 2014 of World Trade Center-related metatastic sarcoma at the age of 57.
He ended his 33-year NYPD career at Manhattan South Narcotics.
The fee to participate is $75.00 per adult and $55.00 for each child under the age of 13. The cost includes the day’s fishing, bait/tackle, parking, breakfast, lunch, and beverages.
