New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony
October 10, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Albany will add 113 names of FDNY officers and firefighters who have died from World Trade Center-related illnesses since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 to their memorial in their 20th annual memorial ceremony on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00am.
It has taken many years of lobbying the Office of Fire Prevention & Control to persuade them to change the eligibility rules for having a name added to the wall in order to enable those who have died of World Trade Center-related illness to be included.
Please check the NSFFM website for the entire list of names that will be included.
