9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial service for WIlliam P. Reimer, chief engineer for Mazzocchi Wrecking Company

William P. “Bill” Reimer, 75, died on Monday, February 29, 2016 in Livingston, NJ.

He was the fourth generation of his family to become the city engineer for the City of East Orange. Bill also worked as the chief engineer for Mazzocchi Wrecking Company. He reported to the site of the World Trade Center on September 12, 2001 and spent time there, helping the recovery using a variety of new techniques.

Mr. Reimer’s memorial service will be held at 7:15pm on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home in Livingston.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s name may be made to the Fairview Lake and Water Conservation Foundation, 119 James Drive, Ringwood, NJ 07456, or to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, 100 Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960.
