9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial Service for 9/11 Family Member Barbara Ball Rivers — Sarasota, FL

Barbara Ball Rivers died on April 24, 2018 in Sarasota, Florida at the age of 90. Her son, David Ellis Rivers, was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 while attending the Risk Waters conference. He was 40.
A memorial service for her will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10:30am, at the Chapel in Bay Village Sarasota.
Donations in her memory may be made to the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury or the MSPCA.
On Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10:30am, a service will be held at the Chapel in Bay Village, Sarasota. A memorial service on the Island will take place in late September at the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury, Massachusetts, where she lived for many years with her husband Thomas. Details of that service will be posted.
