9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The annual Memorial Mass for FDNY Lieutenant John Martinson will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00pm at St. Clare’s Church in Staten Island.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
FDNY Lieutenant John Martinson, aka “Johnny Nice Guy”, was killed at the age of 40 on January 4, 2008 in a fire in a Brooklyn highrise. He left a wife and toddler son. He was a 14-year veteran of the FDNY.
