9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Major Dwayne Williams Memorial Golf Classic

The eighth annual Major Dwayne Williams Memorial Golf Classic will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Silver Lakes Golf Course in Glencoe, AL.
Major Dwayne Williams was murdered on September 11, 2001 during the terrorist attack on the Pentagon. Earlier in his 19-year U.S. Army career, Major Williams served as a paratrooper and Ranger. He also served in the Persian Gulf War.
The tournament will be played in a two-man scramble format. The golfer fee includes breakfast, lunch, greens fees, cart fees, golf towel or shirt, beverages on the course and a goody bag. Please contact Nancy Turner at 256-453-8607 or at nturner@jsu.edu to register or to learn more.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to students attending Jacksonville State University, Dwayne Williams’ alma mater.
