Hands-on training will be conducted at the Suffolk County Fire Academy in Yaphank, NY. Classroom training will be conducted at R.C. Murphy Junior High School in Stony Brook.

This is a unique opportunity to meet past and present instructors, and other fire service leaders. 100% of the proceeds go to the foundation. Cost for the two-day event ranges from $65 to $175. Additional information is available here.

Lt. Joseph P. DiBernardo, one of Rescue 3’s youngest-ever members, worked the recovery efforts after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. He was terribly injured in the line of duty on Black Sunday in January 2005 and died of his injuries in November 2011.
