9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Light up Wethersfield, CT with Keane Foundation Luminaria kits for Christmas Eve

Be a part of the joy of a 44 year old Wethersfield tradition by displaying luminaria, special votive candles in sand-lined bags, along your property this Christmas Eve.
Luminaria are most beautiful when entire neighborhoods display them. It is recommended that you display bags at the end of your yard 6-10 feet apart along the road.
Each luminaria kit costs $1.50, and includes the 14-hour candle, special bag, and instructions. All proceeds go to the Keane Foundation After School Enrichment Programs and the 9/11 Memorial Sports Center.
Kits are available at Wethersfield Travel, 219 Main Street, Old Wethersfield now through NOON on Friday December 21, 2018 for use on Christmas Eve. To order your kits, please call 860-257-3775, and they will be ready for you to pick up at your convenience.

The Keane Foundation was established to create a 9/11 Memorial Sports Center in the Wethersfield community. Richard Keane was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
