9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Heart 9/1 Commemorative March of the 9/11 Recovery Workers – New York, NY

Heart 9/11 will host a commemorative walk in Lower Manhattan on Sunday, September 12, 2021 to honor the recovery workers who have died from their work at the World Trade Center site in the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks and to raise funds for their work.

Heart 9/11 is a team made up of FDNY, NYPD, PAPD members and workers from the NYC building trades who bonded together during the recovery efforts in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. Now they help communities affected by natural and man-made disasters, in gratitude for the help NYC received after the 9/11 attacks.
The first 2,500 people to register will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
The march is 0.8 mile in length.
