9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Ground-breaking ceremony for Rise St. Pete 9/11 Memorial – St. Petersburg, FL

A ground-breaking ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00am for Rise St. Pete, a September 11 memorial.
The memorial’s centerpiece will be steel recovered from the World Trade Center. A fountain will surround the steel with a wing over it covered in copper from the recent refurbishment of the Statue of Liberty.
Owners of the American Freedom Distillery obtained the steel. American Freedom Distillery is a local business run by veterans who worked at the World Trade Center recovery effort and fought in Afghanistan and Iraq.
