9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Sgt. Ray McGowan (retired), NYPD

Retired NYPD Sgt. Ray McGowan, 56, died on August 10, 2016 of World Trade Center-related illness. He was 56.
Sgt. McGowan was a 32-year veteran of the New York City Police Department and spent several months on the pile after the terrorist attacks.
His funeral Mass will be held at 10:45am on Friday, August 12, 2016 at St. Kevin’s Church in Flushing.
