9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Retired NYPD Lieutenant James D. Russell

Retired NYPD Lieutenant James D. Russell lost his battle to World Trade Center-related cancer on October 16, 2017 at the age of 53.
After a career in Brooklyn Narcotics, Lt. Russell worked for the District Attorney’s office after his NYPD career.
His funeral Mass will be said on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:15am at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church in Deer Park, NY.
Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society in Jimmy’s name would be appreciated.
