9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Retired NYPD Detective Sergeant Saverio “Sam” Fanelli died on July 5, 2021.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew Avellino RC Church in Flushing, NY on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00am.
Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in East Elmshurst.
