9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for retired FDNY Firefighter Joseph J. O’Brien

Retired FDNY Joseph J. O’Brien died Monday, September 10, 2018 at the age of 64. He retired in 2002 after a 20-year career, the fourth generation of his family to join the FDNY.
He worked during the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center following the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at the Holy Cross Church in Middletown, NY.
Burial of ashes in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Port Jervis, NY will be held at a later date.
