9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Retired FDNY Firefighter Alfred J. Artesona, E-71, died of World Trade Center-related multiple myeloma on May 11, 2022. He was 60.
FF Artesona’s funeral will take place at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church in the Bronx at 10:00am on Friday, May 13, 2022. Burial will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made in Al’s name to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation here.
