9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for retired FDNY Fire Marshal Alan Cataneo

Retired FDNY Fire Marshal Alan Cataneo died of World Trade Center-related illness on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Alan spent some of his career at Engine Company 18 in Greenwich Village.
He was a US Navy veteran who earned medals in Vietnam.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Church of the Holy Child on Staten Island.
Committal services will be private.
Contributions in Alan’s memory can be made to either the FDNY Burn Center or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
