9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Funeral for NYPD Officer Manny Vargas (ret.)

NYPD Officer Manny Vargas, who last served with the 49 Precinct, died of World Trade Center-related brain cancer on November 1, 2018. He also worked in the 24 Precinct during his 24-year NYPD career.
A large man of great strength, he was known as “Monsta.”
Officer Vargas’ funeral service will take place at 10:30am on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Church of the Incarnation in Manhattan.
