New York City Transit Police Detective Vincent P. Caracciolo has died of site-related illness at the age of 56.
Detective Caracciolo responded to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. He retired from the NYPD in 2002.
His funeral will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Forest Hills on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 9:45am.
