9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for New Rochelle Police Officer Mark S. Gado

Mark S. Gado, who spent 29 years as a New Rochelle Police Officer, died on September 16, 2018, at the age of 70.
He spent time at the recovery effort at the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. He was also a Vietnam veteran.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:30am at St. Denis Church, also in Hopewell Junction.
In lieu of flowers, Mark’s family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in his honor.
