9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for FDNY Firefighter Matthew McDevitt, L-135

FDNY Firefighter Matthew McDevitt of Ladder 135 has died of cancer. He was with the FDNY for three years. He leaves behind his wife, a two-year-old, a new baby, and a host of friends.
His funeral will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 10:00am, also at Our Lady of Grace.
Burial will follow at St. Charles’ Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the FDNY Foundation has set up a scholarship fund for FF Matthew J. McDevitt’s Children. 100% of donations to the Fund will support his family. Online donations can be made here.
