9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Funeral for Retired NYPD Detective Dennis P. Murphy of the 67th Precinct’s Detective Squad

NYPD Detective Dennis P. Murphy, 57, of the 67th Precinct’s Detective Squad died on October 25, 2019 of World Trade Center-related tongue cancer.
He was a tireless fighter for the Zadroga Bill, and was the backup speaker for Luis Alvarez in case he was too ill to testify before Congress.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 9:45am at Good Shepherd R.C. Church in Brooklyn.
His cremation will be private.
