9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for FDNY Firefighter James “Jimmy” Lanza (retired)

Retired FDNY Firefighter James “Jimmy” Lanza died on April 6, 2017 of World Trade Center-related brain cancer. Noted for his generosity and his charity work, Jimmy was beloved. He spent much of his career at El Barrio’s Bravest, E-53/L-43. He was 71.
His funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:00am at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church in Woodside, Queens.
