9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for FDNY Captain Peter Casey

The funeral for Captain Peter J. Casey will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Genevieve’s Church in Roxbury (Breezy Point). The cremation will take place at Greenwood Crematory.
Captain Casey died of WTC-related multiple myeloma on July 3, 2013 at the age of 67. Peter retired as an FDNY Captain after 33 years of dedicated service. He was also a Vietnam veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps. and an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
