9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Deputy Chief Steven Bonano, NYPD

NYPD Deputy Chief Steven Bonano has died after a long battle with World Trade Center-related blood cancer. He was 53 and due to be married this week.
A funeral Mass will be said for him on Friday, January 23, 2015, time TBA.
