9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Paul Purcell, Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority

Paul Purcell of the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority died on February 1, 2019 of interstitial lung disease linked to his time responding to the terrorist attack on the Pentagon on Friday February 1, 2019.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 10:00am at the Redland Baptist Church in Rockville, MD. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s name may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, P.O. Box 498, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
