Firefighter Robert Olsen Comedy Fundraiser – Bohemia, NY
September 19, 2021 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
A comedy show will be held at Governor’s at McGuire’s Comedy Club in Bohemia on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 3:30pm to benefit FDNY Firefighter Robert Olsen, who was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) this winter.
Rob is a 23-year veteran of the FDNY who spent his career entirely at E-229/L-146. He served during the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site.
At this time, neurological illnesses such as ALS are not covered by the World Trade Center Health Program, leaving Rob and his family with astronomical debts that are not covered by insurance.
Doors open at 2:30pm. It is asked that everyone arrive by 3:00pm for a 3:30pm curtain-up.
Attendees must be at least 16 years of age.
The cover charge is $25.00 per person. Each person is asked to purchase 2 items of food or drink. There will be raffles and a 50/50.
