9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FF Patrick Finegan (ret.) Needs Blood & Platelets

Retired FF Patrick Finegan (formerly of Engine 69) is currently a patient at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City being treated for World Trade Center related cancer.  He needs regular blood and platelet transfusions.

Donations of blood or platelets would be greatly appreciated. To benefit Patrick, all donations must be made in the Blood Donor Room of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and designated for him. Any donated blood or platelets not used by Pat will be released for use by other patients, many of whom are children.

All blood types can donate.

Appointments are required to make a designated donation. Please contact Joe Licata at licataj@mskcc.org or 212-639-8177 to arrange a time to donate.

The Blood Donor Room of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is open Friday through Monday from 8:30am to 3:00pm and on Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am to 7:00pm.

The Blood Donor Room is located in the lobby of the Schwartz Building, 1250 First Avenue (between 67th and 68th Streets).

There is free parking for blood donors at Somerset Parking Garage, 1365 York Avenue. Please enter on the northwest corner of 72nd Street.
