9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FDNY Assistant Chief Ron Spadafora Needs Blood and Platelets

February 10, 2016 - February 22, 2016

Assistant Chief Ron Spadafora needs blood and platelets. A survivor of the attacks, Chief Spadafora was assigned as the World Trade Center Chief of Safety for the entire recovery operation in October 2001. He is now fighting World Trade Center cancer.

He is currently a patient at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and requires regular blood and platelet transfusions.

In order for your donation to benefit Ron, the donation must be made at the Blood Donor Room at the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. To schedule an appointment, please contact Joe Licata at 212-639-8177 or at licataj@mskcc.org. Appointments are required but all blood types are acceptable.
