9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Dinner and book event for Gary Sinise’s memoir to benefit Friends of Firefighters

On Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 5:00pm at Friends of Firefighters in Brooklyn, Gary Sinise will make his only New York appearance on the book tour for his memoir, Grateful American. Attendees can meet Gary and receive a copy of the book.
Best known for playing Lieutenant Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump, Sinise is now known for his charity work, especially his work with veterans.
Ticket prices begin at $50.00 for a regular ticket to the discussion and entertainment provided by the FDNY Pipes & Drums and U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Gotham actor J.W. Cortés. Colors will be presented by the FDNY Ceremonial Unit. (Each $50.00 ticket includes a copy of the book). A $250.00 ticket includes all the above plus an FDNY-prepared dinner with Gary Sinise.
Tickets are available here and proceeds benefit Friends of Firefighters, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that provides free and confidential wellness services for active and retired FDNY firefighters and their families.
