9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. NYPD Shield Unit Community Active-Shooter Training Session

The NYPD’s Shield Unit will hold an active-shooter training session for the public on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Christian Pentecostal Church in the Concord section of Staten Island. Doors will open at 6:30pm. Free parking is available.
The training will help the public know what they should do and should NOT do in the event of their being involved in an active-shooter situation; what information police or 911 dispatchers need; and more.
