The Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation is raising funds to establish a donor-advised Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation Endowment Fund at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. The fund will be used to maintain all the areas the Foundation has renovated over the years including Ace’s Place, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Emergency Department, as well as Toughlings decorations that the Foundation has added throughout the hospital.

Garnet Bailey, much better known as “Ace,” played eleven seasons with the National Hockey League. He earned seven Stanley Cup rings, as both player and scout. On September 11, 2001, while scouting for the Los Angeles Kings, he boarded United Flight 175, and was killed when terrorists flew the plane into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
