9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance Heroes Night
August 6, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The 12th annual Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance Heroes Night will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 beginning at 6:00pm with a prayer ceremony at the Wall of Remembrance.
This year’s honorees are FDNY Assistant Chief Gerard Barbara, who was killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and FDNY Captain John Vigiano, Sr., a Fire Department legend who lost both his sons in the 9/11 attacks and died of World Trade Center-related illness himself in 2018.
Presentation of colors and the National Anthem are at 6:30pm, with a 6:45 game time. The FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums will play.
In this year’s game, the Brooklyn Cyclones will take on the Hudson Valley Renegades.
