9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Jeff “Jocko” Kempf, Sr., ex-chief of the West Islip Fire Department, is suffering from stage 4 lung and bone cancer.
The West Islip Fire Department is holding a benefit for him on Sunday, January 27, 2019, from 3:00pm-8:00pm at the department building.
A donation of $25.00 will include food, beverages, a DJ, raffles and a 50/50. Funds raised will help with medical expenses.
