9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Amy King 5-K Run/Walk – Lakewood, NY

The annual Amy King 5-K Run/Walk will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Celoron Moose Club in Celoron, NY.
To run or walk costs $30.00 plus an online fee of $2.74. The fee includes participation in the event and a ¾ zip sweatshirt if you register by Saturday, November 21, 2021. You can register for the event here. Proceeds raised will benefit the Amy King Kids’ YMCA Summer Camp and Southwestern Central School Scholarships.
Amy King was a flight attendant on United Flight 175. She was 29 years old on September 11, 2001 when terrorists hijacked her flight. Her long-time boyfriend, Michael Tarrou, 38, also a flight attendant, died with her aboard Flight 175.
